frequently asked questions

  • What makes FitKat different from other nutrition programs?

FitKat is built on personalization. I don’t hand out cookie-cutter meal plans — I design realistic, flexible nutrition strategies tailored to your lifestyle, whether you’re a busy mom, an athlete, or a working professional. My approach blends science, structure, and flavor so your plan feels doable (and enjoyable!) long-term.

  • Do you provide meal plans?

Yes! Depending on your package, you’ll receive fully customized meal plans, grocery lists, and recipes. I also teach you how to adapt and swap foods so you’re never “stuck” following a rigid plan.

  • Are the sessions in-person or virtual?

Most FitKat sessions are virtual (via Zoom), so you can work with me from anywhere. If you’re local, I do offer add-ons like pantry makeovers, grocery store sessions, and private chef services through KitchKat.

  • How often will we meet?

That depends on the package you choose. My Foundations package includes one consultation and one follow-up, while Momentum and Lifestyle include regular check-ins (biweekly or weekly) to keep you accountable and supported.

  • Do you work with food allergies or special diets?

Absolutely! I can design plans for pescatarian, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other preferences. Your plan will fit your body, lifestyle, and values.

  • Will I need to buy supplements?

Not necessarily. I believe in a food-first approach. If supplements could help you fill a specific gap, I’ll make personalized recommendations, but nothing is required.

  • How do payments work?

Packages are paid upfront to secure your spot. I accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal and credit card via Stripe. For longer packages, I also offer payment plans.

  • Do you take insurance?

At this time, FitKat is private-pay and not covered by insurance. I’m happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your provider for possible reimbursement.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens! I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Missed sessions without notice may not be rescheduled.

  • How do I know which package is right for me?

If you’re just looking for a jumpstart, Foundations is a great fit. If you want structure and accountability, Momentum will help you build consistency. And if you’re ready for a complete lifestyle shift with full support, Lifestyle is the best choice. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to chat and guide you to the right option.
